Best network for 3G / 4G?

Many Congrats to Govt. of Pakistan, PTA and MOIT for successful auction of  3G and 4G Spectrum which I covered yesterday. Results are as follows:

Only Zong managed to secure 10Mhz of 4G spectrum from the 1800 Mhz Band. After this a lot of people are planning to join or switch network. But here are some points before taking any decision:

• 10Mhz block for 3G/4G means bigger pipe for broadband services. 

• Operators with 10Mhz spectrum will need lesser number of cell sites (simply you can say Towers), while operators with 5Mhz block will need more cell sites to deliver similar amount of broadband.

• Speed depends upon your distance from cell site and user connected cell site as well.

Simply we can say Zong and Mobilink can accommodate more consumers as compare to Telenor and Ufone. And if you are far from cell site or maximum consumers connected one cell site it can slow your network speed.

While Warid is claiming that they have Technology Neutral Licence and can offer such services for subscribers. But they can not offer without approval of PTA.
