HTML Signature in Gmail

Gmail does supports signatures but the problem is that it does not support HTML so you can not insert pictures or images in your signatures and they look dull with no colors and stuff. But we will work out on how we can add signatures with HTML capabilities and images/ pictures in them.

Gmail Signatures with Images

Step 1: Go to Gmail Settings > Labs and enable “Canned Responses” and “Inserting Images

Step 2: Compose a new email and create a signature just like composing other email messages. You can either upload images from your computer or from a URL at web (this is better option as it will permanently embed the image into your email signature)

Step 3: When you are done with formatting and layout of your ‘html signature‘ in there go to the Canned Response menu and Save. Name it something like “Personal” for a signature that you want to attach to your personal emails.

Now when you are composing email or replying, select relevant signature from Canned Responses and it will be inserted inline as in screeshot. This is an eays method to insert professional looking signature with html and images in your outgoing emails in Gmail.
